- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My son goes to Newberry College. He became ill on a Saturday. Went to see this Dr on Monday. Dr diagnosed sinus infection & gave my son an antibiotic that doesn't even work on sinus infections. "Fortunately" my son reacted very poorly to the antibiotic, momentary blindness, severe nausea, passed out in the dorm hallway at 1:30 am!!!! I took my son to our family doctor the next day. He didn't have a sinus infection, he had a horrid ear infection & invasive strep! And the Rx Dr Hunt gave him not only didn't help him get better, but made him worse! He could have died from that combination of strep & this Rx. Today, I get a bill for $127, I called the office, explained the situation & nurse said that she is not authorized to reduce or remove charge. BEWARE!!! Even if you think you have a mild infection, this doctor may not properly diagnose or treat. Half of all medical doctors graduated in the bottom half of their class. I would not go to nor recommend this doctor to anyone. I hope there is another medical practitioner new the Newberry campus so the students have another option.March 31, 2017by Diana Baquet
